A+U Magazine is an architectural magazine in Japanese and English published in Tokyo, Japan. Each issue is edited from a unique point of view to provide in-depth reporting on architecture to an international audience.
The magazine’s December 2022 issue, “Engineering Art,” explores what’s possible when artists and engineers work together without the usual constraints of zoning and building regulations.
My photo of Kenneth Snelson’s Free Ride Home (1974) at Storm King Art Center was used to illustrate a feature on the sculptor and his work.
